In this interview Rodney Nick discusses his youth near East Helena; his family's military background; his own service during WWII in the Air Corps, 1944-1945, as a tail gunner; returning to Helena; being called for duty again in 1950; service in Japan with the 98th Bombardment Group; flying missions to Korea in B29s; comparison of service during WWII and Korean War; propaganda drops; comparison of B24s and B29s; description of various bomb loads; feelings about MacArthur; injury to face and hearing loss; returning to Helena; work as a mechanic in Helena for various businesses; and life after retirement.
